Workshop in Theodore Schneller School

Miss Jony Salloum (JLSS Educator) and Mr. Michael Karam (JLSS Sports Teacher) attended a workshop in Theodore Schneller School, Amman - Jordan, from 10 to 12 April 2008. The theme of the workshop was Experimental Education for Enhancing Human Self-awareness. The workshop was held mostly in the newly built rope-garden (Seilgarten).
Teachers and trainers from different schools and institutes attended the workshop. Most were from Jordan.
The aim of the workshop was to train teachers or trainers to be able to train students, groups, or children with different abilities,  to work together, trust and cooperate with each other, in order to build their self-esteem, develop skills, be creative, learn to overcome problems, and work together in unity as a group or a team.
We express our sincere gratitude to EMS for this wonderful workshop, and we especially thank Rev. Hanna Mansour and Mr. Mussa Al- Munaizel for including JLSS staff in this workshop.
