Second Single Mothers Graduation 2017

The graduation of the second group of single mothers (Syrian refugees) was held in Maria Schneller Hall on Friday 28 July 2017 at 10:30 AM.
Ten women who completed the three-month training program in sewing skills received their certificates and a sewing machine each.
Attending were the heads of departments who were present at JLSS during the summer holiday of teachers and educators.
The director opened with a word of prayer. He then thanked Mrs. Carmen Zino for her work with the women. He congratulated the ten women on their achievement and wished them success in their work now that they have skills that will enable them to support themselves and their children.

The women then cut the cake which was baked for the occasion by our kitchen staff. After a nice time of fellowship with the single mothers it was time for taking photos. They all insisted on taking photos with Mrs. Zino, Rev. Haddad, and other members of Schneller staff. They wanted to have photos to remember the wonderful time they had in Schneller School, as they said. They expressed their sincere gratitude to Schneller School and especially EMS/EVS, our German partners, who support this wonderful project.
Mrs. Zino had special praise to this group of women. They were very cooperative, friendly, and especially eager to learn. They achieved a lot. She told them she was very proud of their achievements.
